Sharks Tooth Bottle

Sharks Tooth Bottle Sharks Tooth Bottles are tiny pieces of our memories, hidden in geo-caches around the world. Check out the about section to read more about them.

We are the Joneses. We live in Southwest Florida, on the coast, where sharks teeth hunting is a favorite hobby of ours. In August, 2016, we decided that we would introduce our then 3 and 5 year old to Geocaching on our family stay-cation. When you geocache, you have to leave something behind and we decided we'd create something really special to leave when we found a cache. The bottles contain 4 t

iny sharks teeth, each representing one of us. you'll notice that on the little message, there's a number: 1/18, 4/18, 18/18, etc... that means that you've found [1] bottle out of 18 (You guessed it! There's 18 of these little bottles hidden around the world!)

Our hope is that once you find our little bottle, you'll take a picture and share it with the hashtag and let us know the number of the bottle you've found so we can see how far and wide they have been travelling by including the Latitude and Longitude of it's current location. It's so fun for us to see where these little bottles have ended up, and dream about where they are going. Each bottle is sealed with wax, so don't open it! If you do, that bottle's journey has ended, so please let us know if you'd like to keep it so we can mark it off the list. But our hope is that you'll either leave it in the cache you've found it, or bring it with you to the next cache so it can see the world. Thank you for being a part of our experience, and happy, safe geocaching!
