John Ringling Causeway (also known as Ringling Bridge or Gil Waters Bridge) is a bridge that extends past the Sarasota Bay, from Sarasota to St. Armand’s Key and Lido Key. The 65-foot-tall (20 m) bridge, built in 2003, is a segmental box girded bridge named after John Ringling, one of the founders of the Ringling Brothers Circus and resident of the Sarasota area.

Closing out the last 5 days of 2023, I want to share one of my five fave photographs each day. It is so hard to choose, but for today, the last day of 2023, I'll go with this image, “Cabaret Au Lapine Agile” Montmartre, Paris because for me it evokes the nostalgic romantic essence of the ‘20s when Montmartre was an epicenter of art, music and literature and was the haunt of artists like Picasso, Hemmingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, James Joyce, Marc Chagall, Gertrude Stein and others. Click to open for best view.

Closing out the last 5 days of 2023, I want to share one of my five fave photographs each day. It is so hard to choose, but for Day 2, I'll go with this image, "Drifting" Against a background suffused in golden hues from the setting sun, an iceberg, resplendent in its glacial blue, steals the show at the Jökulsárlón Lagoon at the foot of Breiðamerkurjökull Glacier, part of larger Vatnajökull Glacieron the south coast of Iceland.
I chose this image because for me it expresses my passionate embrace of the beauty of Iceland and the intrigue that beckons me to search out and capture that beauty to present it through the lens of my artistic style.

Closing out the last 5 days of 2023, I want to share one of my five fave photographs each day. It is so hard to choose, but for Day 3, I'll go with this image, Lavender Fields Forever, Valensole, Provence, France. Revisiting this image from July, I can almost hear the symphonic hum of the honeybees buzzing and catch a faint whiff of the intoxicating scent of the lavender blooms as I stood at sunset, as I reveled in this quintessential experience.
