It’s only 75 miles from Lincoln City to Florence. Hard to believe there are 35 state parks right along Hwy 101 or very close. I wonder if any other place in the United States can come close! My favorite is Boiler Bay…I love stopping there to soak in the enormity of the ocean.

Just had a bobcat walk by my Office window here in Waldport. He/she stopped for about a minute to watch the bird feeder, then headed into the brush down the hill toward Bayshore. Which I had had my phone nearby for a pic.
