The New Year is a great time to do some cleaning. I've been filling up my garbage cans, but thought I'd share so you can throw out a few things too. Which can will you be using? Pick as many as you need! I tried to make them look pretty, because there's a lot of ugly going inside! Let's throw away everything that held us back in 2014! Was gifted a new deck…“Work Your Light” by Rebecca Campbell. I always pull the first card for myself to break it in and this is what came up. Sharing in case it resonates with anyone else. It says, "The challenge of life is to keep your heart open when you most want to close it. To let life crack you open. To open through hurt and loss. To allow what is falling away to fall away. You never know how or when you’ll touch another. Moved by this post and sharing as a reminder to always be kind. No one should have to go through life alone. EVERYONE has purpose and value. EVERYONE has a story to tell. Love to all 💕

This week, I’ve been living by the mantra “be the light you wish to see in the world.” I’ve found no comfort in those around me and have needed to speak to myself as I wished to be spoken to, gently, calmly, hopefully. It turns out that self reliance was incredibly important today. With nothing but a voice in my head telling me to, I headed to the ER today to get checked out. I’ve been very sick and no one around me took me seriously enough to realize how sick I’d gotten. The wonderful nurses took my word for it though and ran a battery of tests. Turns out, I have an infection that needed antibiotics. While they were running scans, they also found an emergent problem that needs to be addressed. An intuitive reiki healer had warned me about it a year ago (thank you Leslie!) but I never acted on it. Hopefully, I will find better health now. Listen to yourself. Breathe into yourself. No one else will love you as you can.
