Foundation block ✔️
Next week the concrete slab for the basement, and some plumbing will be installed. We have a great contractor who sends progress pics and keeps us updated every step of the way!

The first load of block has been delivered and we should have a foundation by the end of the week!

1 year and 5 months since the Wildfire, and we FINALLY have the green light to begin rebuilding!!! It's been a long process, but we found the right builder, and waited months on the HOA board to approve our plans for the new log cabin! Let the fun begin🏚

Next to Flapjack's and Jurassic Jungle Boat Ride in Pigeon Forge, the adult-oriented hotel has a swim club and lots of tequila.

Site cleanup in progress! We're working on the floorplan next, and hoping to enjoy the cabin in time for Fall colors!

We are STILL looking for a reputable, affordable log cabin builder to rebuild Lazy Bear. Approx 1100 sq ft, thinking of adding a loft this time.
