What was meant to be a simple day of backcountry skiing turned into a 2 person rescue. We were so grateful to be in the backcountry with these five women who all brought unique skills and experience to our victims. The two men who we brought back to safety are absolutely fine and very happy to be headed home. PSA- Do not travel outside of resort boundaries without proper avalanche training or gear. Not only are you a hazard to yourself but you can be a hazard to others.
