📣 Glacier Park just announced it’s opened Going to the Sun Road for vehicles!

📝 Remember you need a park pass AND a vehicle registration to enter on West side between 6am - 3pm.

As a reminder, vehicle reservations are NOT required at the East Entrance in 2024. St. Mary provides access to Going-to-the-Sun Road. Be sure to check out NPS website for all the details before you go!

Opening Weekend is here and we are SO excited to see you back up on The ‘Big ⛰️

Here is our operating plan for this weekend:

Chair 1 and the Summit House will be open for scenic chairlift rides only from 10am to 6pm 🚡 Please note temperatures can be cooler than the base area and snow will be present on the summit – solid footwear is encouraged. Also, the Danny On trail is not accessible from the summit. The Summit House Nature Center will open June 9th.

Our Aerial Adventure Park, Alpine Slides, Zip Line Tours, and Spider Monkey Mountain will all be open. The Strider Park is slated to open next weekend.

Chair 10 and the Bad Rock Zone will open for lift-serviced biking this weekend 🚵🏼 Bike Rentals will be available at Village Rentals. Bike Park day tickets can be picked up at both Village Rentals and the Base Lodge Ticket Counter. Bike Park Season Passes must be picked up from the Base Lodge Tickets & Info. We hope to open bike access to Chair 2 B-side Zone during the weekend of June 1st-2nd. Snow coverage remains on much of the Summit Trail for two-way travel.

The Base Lodge Bar will be open, as will the Cafe and Coffee Bar. The S.N.O.W. Bus will be operating every day we are open for activities through the summer season and a full bus schedule can be found on our website.
