✨💭✨ Let’s daydream for a quick sec... The air is filled with the combined aroma of fresh popcorn 🍿 and peppermint, 🎶holiday music is playing as you make your way through the parks surrounded by twinkling lights, festive decor ☃️, and of course ALL the seasonal snacks🧁! Boy, does that iconic 🏰 Disneyland charm hit just a bit different (in the best way) from Walt Disney World at the holidays. There’s just something about Christmastime that makes our hearts ache a little for the past, and Disneyland somehow (magically) exudes an air of nostalgia while simultaneously feeling brand new! ✨

I love seeing the holiday parade and lights on the castle. It's a great way to get into the holiday spirit for sure!

Pickles aren’t just for sandwiches; they’re a Christmas tradition too! 🥒 In Germany, families hide a pickle ornament on their Christmas tree 🎄. The first person to find it on Christmas morning gets an extra present from Old Saint Nick 🎅. What a fun way to get everyone to take a good look at all the ornaments on the tree while adding a little extra pixie dust ✨ to the holiday festivities!

Although we have not done this YET we do have a pickle Christmas ornament and I think we might try this!

Stop by EPCOT’s Germany pavilion to learn more about this fun, quirky tradition and maybe snag your own pickle ornament as a fun souvenir of your trip or as a gag gift for the pickle-obsessed person in your life 🥒😂. I think we all have one of those! Anyone take part in this tradition? 🎄

💜💛💚🎊 Love the idea of partying during Mardi Gras but not quite up for the authentic (ok, WILD) New Orleans experience? It’s all the fun of the celebration—delicious food 🍤, festive drinks 🍹, live music 🎶, vibrant parades 🎭, and ALL the beads—within the safety of the Universal Orlando bubble. 🎉✨

We just did Mardi Gras at Universal this past February and it was AMAZING!!! I loved seeing all the floats and grabbing some beads all while in a completely safe and stress free environment. We did Mardi Gras in New Orleans one year and although it was a lot of fun there were WAAAAY too many people and the pushing to get nearest to the floats was a little overwhelming.

Alright, time to set the record straight—Universal Studios Orlando is NOT stuck in 1985, and it’s way more than just thrill rides and Butterbeer 🍺. If you’re a die-hard Disney fan, you might have some opinions about Universal, but I’m here to bust some myths 💥:

It’s Just About Thrill Rides – Universal has some awesome thrill rides 🎢, but it also offers immersive attractions for all ages. From The Wizarding World of Harry Potter 🪄 to DreamWorks Land and so many experiences in between, it’s a family-friendly destination!

It’s Not as Immersive – Time to take another look 👀 at Universal if this is what you think. And I’m not even talking about the upcoming Epic Universe park!

It’s Just for Teens and Adults – This is just a hard no 🚫. With lands and attractions featuring Trolls, Kung-Fu Panda, Scooby Doo, Despicable Me, and Dr. Seuss, the littles will know they are where they belong too 🎉.

Universal is a great place to visit and enjoy. Quite frequently they are running awesome specials!

Heroes Work Here! This Veterans Day, let’s take a moment to honor the incredible contributions of our U.S. military service members—and shine a light on Disney’s Heroes Work Here program 🇺🇸✨.

Since 2012, Disney has hired thousands of veterans, offering jobs, support, and resources to help them successfully transition into civilian careers. Keep an eye out for markers like this one in EPCOT—a tribute to Disney’s commitment to our heroes. As a true patriot, no doubt Walt Disney would be proud of the way his company is thanking our veterans for their service! 👏

Whether you’re visiting Magic Kingdom in July or December, for kids who believe in the magic of Santa Claus 🎅, here’s a memory none of you will forget. At Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, children can write and mail letters to Santa Claus! Everything needed—paper, crayons, and a mailbox—is provided ✏️📬. This is one of those touches that just makes a person fall in love with the Disney magic! ✨

I remember writing letters to Santa as a kid and all the hope and joy that came with it. I think this is a magical idea come to life at Disney.

If you’re a parent or grandparent, you know how incredibly fast these years fly by ❤️. When they handwrite that letter, believing with all their hearts… aaaaah…that’s a memory you’ll hold onto forever! Take all the pictures! 📸 Who grew up writing to Santa? 🎅✨

Celebrating Nassau Bahamas today. Their new port area is really coming along well. Still more construction but they definitely are improving what was in the past a dismal area.
