You never know what you’ll find when hiking in the desert. This looks to be a coyote. Impromptu science lesson for the kids brought to us by nature. 🐾 We also learned a little about tracking footprints and about treading lightly ourselves. Remember the desert is a fragile ecosystem. When hiking, pack out anything you have packed in and stay on trail.
