So woke up this morning and opened the curtains to this view. It’s been years since my husband and I came down alone with no villa management issues. Plan for the day, pool, pool and naps! Interspersed with life conversations, reading books, just happiness.

More photos from Camp Too Chill at Villa St John. We had so many night swims. We walked down to the beach during full moon and floated in Chocolate Hole (something I have never done before but is now something I would not miss). We would run up the stores, rinse off, jump in the hot tub and then sit under the gazebo. I can’t tell you how much negativity was released and how much stronger I feel after these evening gatherings. ow #

These amazing women came together on a whim, an off hand comment that we should plan a reunion of our pledge class to coincide with dropping my daughter off a college. We have laughed harder than I could imagine, talked late into the night, been open to any adventure and helped each one of us become stronger. Little did I know when I left college that these women would rally around me to help me over one of life’s biggest milestones. When they say you join a sorority for sisterhood, they mean it. We were not all best buddies in college, but we are now. I would walk through fire for these women! Greatest vacation ever!

What a fabulous week of reconnecting with my sorority sisters. Some of us have not been together in 35 years yet we picked up as if no time had passed. This is the very definition of sisterhood. So today is the first day of Camp Too Chill. Left my daughter at college for the beginning of her Freshman year. Rather than wallow in empty nest syndrome, I organized a reunion of my college friends at Villa St John. Let the fun begin. My view this morning!

It’s been a while since I have posted.
My daughter is heading to college tomorrow for the first time. I have been treasuring every moment, tucking away my memories to hold onto going forward. She has been coming since she was three months old!
have a trip planned to the villa after college drop off! Sorority sisters and good friends and the beauty of St John to restore my spirit.
