Mother Nature has given us several pretty good sized storms the last few weeks; which means everything is green and lush. There have been plenty of July trips when we were in droughts; not this year! So much wildlife all over the island and in the waters. Here are some images from Casa Brisa Colina.

Power is on all the time at Casa Brisa Colina! We have solar panels and a generator. We are seeing reports of other St John visitors canceling their trips or leaving early, but not at Casa Brisa Colina! When are you coming to paradise?

You’ve probably heard the nightmares of power supply on island in the last few weeks, and even tonight as there are rolling blackouts. Have no fear- you’ll never be without power at Casa Brisa Colina. We have solar panels and generator back up!
Look at this five star review from a guest who just stayed:
“Casa Brisa Colina is on a hillside near Cruz Bay with views of Great Cruz Bay and Chocolate Hole. It’s not easy to locate, and Celia, the property manager, met us in town on our first day so we could follow her back to the villa. It took a couple of trips before we could drive “home” without getting turned around but it’s fun to get lost in paradise! Celia was very responsive to our questions before and during our stay. We stayed on the lower level of the villa with exclusive access to the pool. There’s nothing like relaxing in a pool after a day at the beach! We availed ourselves of the gas grill and cooked at home three nights. The bedrooms are on either side of the house. The mattresses were comfortable, the pillows tolerable (this is saying a lot as pillows are usually a complaint when traveling), and the split unit AC is each bedroom keeps you cool at night. The furnishings are simple but comfortable. The villa’s grounds are green and lush. Expect visits from thrushies, bananaquits, kestrels, geckos, and iguanas…maybe even a donkey or two! The driveway is steep but paved with off street parking and the neighborhood is quiet. Last but not least: the villa has solar panels and a generator! If you have EVER traveled to the USVI, you know that power outages are a fact of life. We never once lost power during our stay even though there were at least two island wide power outages while we were on St. John. This alone should bump Casa Brisa Colina to the top of any list!”
