The next days were challenging by rain and cold🌧. However, they ahead to discover Ban Gioc Waterfall💦 with many amazing photos.

❤️We've just completed our inspection trip in Lang Son, Cao Bang province📌
🚗It took 2D1N, a bit tight. Fortunately, every works have made sense
We've inspected major attractions, 4* 5*hotels, nice restaurants🏨 for our clients.
🚶In Lang Son, we saw Ky Lua market, Tan Thanh market with various products. Especially, Ky Lua walking street opens at weekend.
And we had a view by Tam Thanh Pagoda and Cave.
We discovered the colour of ethnic people with bamboo dancing, Then singing and speacialty 🍗"Khau Nhuc", roasted duck

In Cao Bang, we visited and took uncounted photos at Ban Gioc Waterfall 💦, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam❤️
In the evening, we had short time at Cao Bang weekend🚶walking street.
The trip is our regular activities, the way we make sure our services are accuracy and professional.

MICE tourism in high demand in Ho Chi Minh City

After a long gloomy period due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ho Chi Minh City has seen an increasing demand for MICE tourism (meeting, incentive, convention, exhibition) from both Vietnamese and foreign customers.

As Vietnam’s economic center, Ho Chi Minh City has a big number of businesses with a high demand for MICE tourism as companies are combining tour and celebration to thank their employees, customers, and partners after the difficult pandemic period.

Vietravel, a leading travel firm, says since the beginning of the year it has served 300 MICE delegations of over 20,000 people. Saigontourist, another leading tour operator in Vietnam, has organized MICE tours for 14.000 customers.

"After the lunar new year holiday in February, Saigontourist has organized big tours for businesses and corporations to hold review meetings and ceremonies awarding employees. In March alone we had a record group of 750 delegates travelling the Da Nang-Hoi An tour.” says Hoang Thuy Linh, deputy director of Marketing and IT of Saigontourist.

Thi Quoc Duy, a representative of BenThanh Tourist Company, expects MICE demand will continue to surge through summer which is exciting for travel agencies. “In April we had many MICE groups. The biggest contract was signed with a company to organize different tours for 6,000 people to visit many provinces and cities,” reveals Duy.

Travel companies say that the favorite destinations are Phu Quoc, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Phan Thiet, Vung Tau, Sa Pa, and Dien Bien. Customers prefer destinations with natural scenic spots and good infrastructure and services to accommodate big delegations.

According to Vu Thi Thanh Hien, deputy director of Grand Sai Gon Hotel, the hotel has since the beginning of the year worked with travel agencies to organize many MICE tours.

“To catch up with the MICE trend, Grand Sai Gon Hotel has capitalized on this market to get profit, and we will continue to improve services, products, and accommodations th meet increasing demand in the coming months,” says Hien.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism has organized training courses for tour guides, restauranteurs, and hoteliers on food safety and hygiene. It has also signed cooperation plans with other sectors to better serve tourists.

Le Truong Hien Hoa, deputy director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, says it’s important to make a good impression on tourists at the very beginning.

“We receive a lot of good information of MICE delegations to Ho Chi Minh City. T&T company has a contract to serve 1,000 delegates from India from now to October. In order to ensure the best reception for guests, we will help travel companies to arrange tours, transportation, and vehicles for big delegations,” elaborates Hoa.

Identifying MICE as the center of its tourism development strategy has been the best decision for Ho Chi Minh City, which was selected as Asia’s best MICE destination at last year’s World MICE Awards.

Vietnam to resume e-visa issuance to 80 countries

Vietnam will resume issuing e-visas for citizens from 80 countries under the amended Law on Immigration that takes effect July 1, according to a government resolution.
Eligible countries include Belgium, Germany, India and South Korea. A full list is available here.

Eight international airports which allow foreigners to enter/exit Vietnam using e-visa are: Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport, Hai Phong's Cat Bi Airport, Da Nang Airport, Thua Thien-Hue Province’s Phu Bai Airport, Khanh Hoa Province’s Cam Ranh Airport, HCMC’s Tan Son Nhat Airport, Can Tho Airport and Kien Giang Province’s Phu Quoc Airport.

Foreigners will also be allowed to enter the country via 29 land and sea border gates with e-visas.

Vietnam allowed foreign tourists to apply for electronic visa (e-visa) from February 1, 2017. The initial list of 40 countries was updated to 46 in December the same year and to 80 last year.

The new government resolution was issued on Monday as the amended Law on Immigration will take effect July 1.

This is an initial step showing Vietnam is planning to open up again, said Nguyen Duc Chi, a tourism expert, adding that for the policy to fully manifest, there has to be resumption of flight routes as well, apart from other things.

"Who the e-visa would be issued to - diplomats, investors or tourists, would have to be reaffirmed," he said.

Vietnam has suspended visa issuance to all foreigners starting March 18 and banned all foreign nationals from entering the country starting March 22 as it acted to contain the Covid-19 pandemic.

Certain cases, including people with diplomatic or official passports, or those coming in for special economic projects, are allowed to enter. All entrants are quarantined for 14 days upon arrival and tested for the novel coronavirus.
