The Longhouse

The longhouse is 52 m2 large and comfortably sleeps up to 30 persons. It is one beautiful large room which can be divided up with bamboo curtains to offer relative privacy in a common area. The space is not broken up into little sections like some other hotels so you can appreciate the beauty of the craftsmanship and experience what it was like back in the time when Ma people lived

in similar house. The longhouse has some modern touches such as ceiling fans, plug sockets and high speed Wi-Fi. At night fall asleep on comfortable mattresses, high quality sheets, covers, pillows and individual mosquito nets (or large nets for couples). Either end of the longhouse roof has open slits to allow a gentle breeze to flow though to keep you cool even on the hottest of days. The Mini Longhouse

Newly built in 2016 the ‘mini’ longhouse is built using the same style, materials and techniques as the larger longhouse and sleeps up to 15 people comfortably. Surrounded by forest and overlooking the lake it’s the perfect lodge for small groups and family’s to book allowing you to have complete privacy. BATHROOM FACILITIES

Our large shared bathroom area is separated from the Longhouse. It houses 10 modern showers/changing areas with solar powered clean and hot water along with 4 toilets. There are 03 modern toilets at the campsite for the campers’ convenience. CUISINE

Meals are taken under our roofed outdoor dining area while enjoying the sounds and sights of the jungle around you. The menu varies from savory to vegetarian dishes. We can cater for any dietary requirement you just need to let us know in advance of your stay with us. Our in-house chefs shop daily at the local market to hand-pick only the freshest foods. The water used for cooking and drinking is filtered and purified by a Pentair system. Beverages: We have a large selection of beverages to choose from such as juices, mineral water, soft drinks, teas, French & Vietnamese coffee, beers and wines. Pavilion Area

Our large pavilion area on the highest part of the site is surrounded by trees and is the perfect location for meetings, conferences, dinners, meditation, dance, yoga and a number of other special events. WHO ARE WE

The idea behind the creation of Ta Lai Experience was to set up a new entity which brings together its 3 brands: - Ta Lai Adventure : https://www.ta-lai-adventure.com/ - Ta Lai Longhouse : https://www.ta-lai-longhouse.com/ - Ta Lai Arôme d’Indochine : http://www.aromesdindochine.com/?page_id=266&lang=fr

The first brand created is Ta Lai Longhouse. This brand was initiated through a national program for ecotourism development in and around protected areas of Vietnam. The pilot program was introduced in Cat Tien Nation Park with sponsorship from DANIDA through WWF-Denmark and WWF-Vietnam.

The aim of our company is to directly contribute to nature conservation and developing the local community.

Origin and ethics are values we hold dear. The first one because we want the jungle to stay as it was originally. So we want to protect and support fauna, flora and local minority communities. The second one because all our actions are done while respecting people and environment.

With the two brands Ta Lai Adventure and Ta Lai Longhouse, we have developed an ecological tourism. We organize sporting and fun activities and events, team buildings, kids camp… Persons who come in Ta Lai will be able to admire the beauty of the jungle and be sensitized to its conservation while having fun.

During these few days in Ta Lai Longhouse, people sejourn in a traditional bamboo-frame lodge. The aim of this project is to bring benefits to the local community by sharing the profits. Indeed, the stay will directly contribute to various projects in the area.

We have created a foundation to increase our help there. For example, we have implemented garbage, a system of trash collect and trees plantation. We support the education of the local children: we renovated a school and we make available to them free English lessons.

We are orientated toward sustainable development because we understand that nature allows us to find everything we need to live, without it we can’t develop our future. It is therefore our duty to act for the support of the people living in ta Lai, and for the fight against poaching, deforestation and the exploitation of precious wood.

Our goal is to change things but also to contribute to conservation and environment awareness.
