Hyenas - one of our favorites! Which animal is your's?

"Is that Friday I see...?"

Our guests had a very nice interaction with curious spotted hyena on the morning safari.
These are such inquisitive yet intelligent creatures and you can't help to admire them!
This one was very mysterious with its behaviour - don't know if it smelled a predator or heard something we couldn't hear, but kept it distance from the vehicle while being very focussed in our direction. After some time, it lost interest and walked past the vehicle on its own mission somewhere.

Next stop !

Recently our team of consultants led by Patrick Manyika spent the weekend out in Hwange National Park on a site inspection visit of several safari camps Hwange Safari Lodge, The Hide Safari Lodge, Robins Camp, Ivory & Khulu Ivory. The mission was to make sure we sell and recommend what we know. Apart from the excellent service and camps in this amazing wildlife park, one of the highlights was this young leopard who followed our vehicle for about 100 meters making sure we get amazing shots.

We know where all the African Safari Treasures are hidden.

Savuti! You have to love hyenas.

The hyena pups near Savute Safari Lodge came out their den in the late afternoon to put on a show for our guests. There are 11 pups in total of varying ages. Here are some photos of these cute characters taken earlier this week.

Africa is not for the feint at heart! Nothing beats Chobe when is comes to elephant sightings!

A recent guest at the lodge, had a unique visitor come share their private suite, they even took advantage of the plunge pool just outside the room.

Awesome safaris in the Sabi Sand. Stunning Arathusa!

It's been a wild morning at Arathusa! We had a rare find on safari: three cheetahs – a mother and her two cubs feasting on an impala. Then... we found the Styx Pride (a bit too quick for our cameras) – they'd just finished a waterbuck. And... we returned to some thirsty visitors at the Bush-facing Suites.
