It's no surprise that the Heritage long weekend (24-26 September) is going to be a BIGGIE in Bathurst. In 2020 our quaint village turned 200 years old, so it is no surprise that the heritage runs long and deep here. So what is happening?: There is a Braai Day on the Friday Public Holiday at The Pig where we will be entertained by the VERY popular Survivals band in the Pool Garden. Monty Roodt will be launching his new book which is set in the Eastern Cape. The popular Farmers Market opens its 'doors' as usual on Sunday followed by the Pig's famous Sunday lunch. The whole village is involved in the Wellness weekend (there is a separate programme). Historic Bathurst holds its well-known - Music At The Mill following a two-year covid break. The brave Springboks face the Scary All Blacks and you can watch the game in all the pubs. LOOK OUT for the various posters and posts. See you up here!!
