The requirement to submit a letter from the Department of Employment and Labour, along with proof of a qualification evaluation by SAQA, has been waived!

This waiver is effective for all General Work Visa applications submitted before, on, or after 6 August 2024.

The section 11.6 Visa is similar to the Spousal Visa, it allows a non-citizen to WORK, STUDY or conduct BUSINESS in South Africa.

Intra-Company Transfer Visa

An Intra-company transfer is a type of work visa that allows a staff member to be transferred from the overseas company to a branch, subsidiary or affiliated business that is operating in South Africa.

Ideal for the multi-national company, the Intra-company work visa (Intra-company transfer) allows for an obvious temporary immigration route for staff members to South Africa. DEPARTMENT OF HOME AFFAIRS UPDATE!

Please note that effective from 01 February 2023, now requires that South African Citizens or Permanent Residency holders who are party to a spousal relationship relating to Relative’s Visa or Visitor’s Visa Section 11(6) applications, will be required to be present at the VFS on the day of submission.

The South African spouse will be required to sign supporting letters in front of VFS officials for authenticity purposes.

Additionally, applicants and South African spouses are required to provide recent passport sized photos with the applications.
