TIP OF THE WEEK:
• Try to eat 3 meals and 3 healthy snacks a day to prevent being hungry and over-eating when you do eat. Don’t skip meals either.
Yummy snacks can include:
• small 100 g/ml low fat or fat free yogurt
• low fat (low salt) crackers
• fresh fruits (whole or squeezed as a juice)
• raw veggies e.g. carrots and snap peas with low fat hummus or cottage cheese
• matchbox of low fat cheese e.g. Mozzarella
• handful of dried fruit (not sugar-coated)
• handful of unsalted nuts
• cup of air popped popcorn, or
• boiled / poached egg
