When will the winds of change blow...

Time waits for no (wo)man, and the sands slip swiftly through my hour glass. The lines like old friends gather on my face and my heart is less prone to skipping a beat. My spirit feels as full as a vase of bright crysanthemum’s (most days) tempered by life, by love won and lost and won and lost again. I am sure there are yet unknowns to be discovered and firsts to traverse, but for now I am happy to be moved by the cyclical nature of this world. My soul moves gently to the known rhythm of nature and I remain delighted by the colours of the sunset and the vastness of the night sky. I know all to soon the winds of change will blow again and I will be called to follow, but for now I breathe deeply and look to the upward with gratitude for it all.
