Growing up in a financially challenged South African province, Jacqueline faced many obstacles. Like numerous children in her community, she attended school on an empty stomach. This lack of nourishment posed a significant challenge for Jacqueline, making it difficult for her to focus and excel academically. However, despite these hardships, Jacqueline's determination and resilience shone through.
Fortunately, everything changed when she discovered Blessman International's Del Cramer Child Development Center. Our after-school program provided meals, homework assistance, and an opportunity to play with other kids. This program became a lifeline for Jacqueline, offering her the support and resources she needed to thrive. Through Blessman International's ministry, she received nourishing meals and access to educational support, which helped her improve her academic performance.
Alongside her involvement in the Light House Christian Church, Jacqueline learned about the love of Jesus. This spiritual foundation became an essential aspect of her life, guiding her actions and shaping her character. The teachings she received at the church instilled in her a sense of compassion and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Today, Jacqueline is making a difference in the lives of others. She has taken on the role of facilitating The Landing, a Celebrate Recovery program specifically designed for teens. Through this program, she provides guidance and support to young individuals who are facing their own challenges and hardships. Jacqueline's empathetic nature and ability to connect with others have made her an invaluable asset to the program, as she helps these teens navigate their difficulties and find hope for a brighter future.
Please consider a gift to Blessman International to help us impact more children like Jacqueline.
