Enjoyable moments out in nature with the gentle giants - African Elephant Indalu Game Reserve. One gets to spend time and learn about these amazing creatures and feel their skin and tusks, leaving one in awe. We enjoyed a wonderful safari of the reserve including a delicious picnic from The Wilderness Picnic Co. Tours by Locals, client Matti who is on the world cruise of the Royal Caribbean vessel Serenade of the Seas enjoyed his Mosselbay shore excursion.

March 2024 Tour. Started from the Garden Route into the Karoo. Star gazing at Sutherland and saw plenty sheep along the way before heading over the grand Du Toits to Cape Town. Weather was excellent with fun great guests. Another happy tour by Tours by GLK

Something Old and Something New...step back in time ... a visit to Die Smokkelhuis not to be missed. Vintage items from garage to the kitchen what an amazing selection can keep you browsing for hours.

Excellent breakfast served too can recommend the malva pudding.

Mega fun to be had with the friendly elephant at Buffelsdrift Game Lodge a short drive north of Oudtshoorn. Great food severed in a beautiful setting overlooking the dam while game viewing.

Don't forget to buy your colourful ostrich feather duster when passing through Oudtshoorn.

Wine tasting at Calizdorp is a delightful experience. Great selection of wineries to chose from set in the Calizdorp surrounds and don't forget the great food. The Karoo region offers great scenery with blue blue skies.

Stony Point Nature Reserve at Betty's Bay was the most special surprise an absolute delight to be in the company of the penquins. Not to be missed.

Cape Winelands are a pleasure to visit surrounded by magnificent surroundings the homesteads are so grand. Daily wine tastings are on offer in addition to great places for a meal, art venues and more to be found. These regions can take one down memory lane how about a visit to local museums to explore the region further.
