They are of great value and benefit to members and their families and have become an important means of fighting poverty in poor communities. Some of these stokvels have also grown into sophisticated businesses. At Ditoro travel we have recognised the importance of Stokvels and appreciate the changing dynamics and sophistications Stokvels are taking. Most importantly, we have recognised what can be possible when merging Stokvel saving power with travelling.


Ditoro Stokvel-Travel brings travelling to the millions of South Africans who have previously been excluded from the mainstream economy including travelling. With this service, we will help stokvel members channel some of their contribution towards saving for travelling to a predetermined destination.
