g causes of hunger, malnutrition and poverty in holistic and integrated ways – both for short-term impact and long-term food security. They must combine quick wins for short-term impact concurrently with systemic change for long-term sustainability. Financial, physical and natural capital investments are thus essential for a productive, sustainable and resilient agriculture-food system. Together we can make a difference and long lasting impact in achieving our desired outcomes because of the complementarity of our approaches. Our combined efforts are essential for building foundational livelihood assets, improving livelihood strategies, protecting lives and livelihoods, and assessing context and risks to save lives and livelihoods.
