The reason I am offering these courses is that over the years I have found that students seem to obtain all the theoretical information but lack the practical skills and knowledge to be able to fully apply themselves and understand physically what electronics is all about .Each student is different and because I only accept 4 students per course I am able to give personal attention to each of them.
The course consist basically of the following:
The various electronic components are explained in detail. That is , how to identify them ,test them and how they work by physically using them and building a circuit.
The use of the various tools such as soldering iron, solder remover, sidecutters, long nose insertion tools etc. are all explained and used by the student.
Lastly the operation and use of a Multimeter is fully explained to enable the student to fault find a circuit.
At the end of the course the student will be able to identify a circuit , trace and replace the faulty component and use a soldering iron and meter confidently.
I also supply a certificate of competence to proof that the student has acquired the practical skills needed to secure a job.
The course is a 4 day course consisting of 3 hours per day Monday to Thursday either from 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm evening courses can be arranged depending on the amount of students.
The price of the course is R2500-00 Per student payable upon registration.
