Although we specialise in Private, Birding & Photographic Safaris, we also cater for bigger groups! Here our vehicles are ready for the arrival of our 74 American guests who are currently embarking on a epic journey on the African Explorer (Rovos Rail) from Victoria Falls, through Zimbabwe, Hoedspruit, Kruger and back to Pretoria. On the Kruger leg they stop for two days to enjoy the park!
We are so grateful to be part of this experience and proud to be able to collaborate with Fairfield Tours and the amazing team behind these tours.

A few day ago we were blessed with this epic cheetah sighting very early in the morning close to Crocodile Bridge Gate. Seeing cheetahs in the KNP is very special, their numbers are very low due to habitat restrictions & high densities of Leopard and Lion.
What a special sighting this morning of this Tusker!
From what I can gather, his name is “Nambu” which means “river” in Tsonga.
Dinner at the Cattle Baron is always good!
Medium Rare Siloin Steak with a blackened pepper crust and salad!
The Kruger National Parks restaurants are very good! The food and service is excellent! On this trip we decided to do 1 traditional South African braai for our guests and the rest of the evenings we enjoy the fine cuisine the restaurants have to offer. All the restaurants also cater for vegetarians, vegans and most other dietaries, so there is something for everyone!
This morning started off with a bang!
We left Satara early and found this beaut of a male leopard in a Sausage tree where he has been feeding on his kill for the last 2 days.
Our timing couldn’t have been better! We just settled in and got the cameras ready when he decided it was time to get out of the wind and go higher up into the thick foliage and out of sight.
He was just north of the nwatsisonto loop on the tar just south of Kumana dam.
Hyenas crossing the Sabie Low Level Bridge 2 days ago! What a lekker sighting!
The lioness and her 2 cubs walking past us just before camp tonight
Wow!! What an amazing sighting we experienced this morning!!! How many lions can you count?
At dinner tonight at the Cattle Baron Skukuza, we were treated with a special sighting of this porcupine next to the fence! A real treat to these nocturnal animals!
Great elephant sighting by Viljoen and his guests today!
