I have not posted for ages.. ......What a year...... Galini has grown from strength to strength. Nominated as a finalist in the Sanlam Top destination awards.. Such an honour for our little team. Been very busy gaining a great reputation for our breakfasts.. Thank you to chef Dorothy, who now has a 'sous' chef Helen..........well she is the second in command !!!!! To all my friends and past visitors ...have a wonderful festive season. Thank you for the gracious comments on Tripadvisor...Galini is now number 5 out of 56 specialty accommodations in Plett. Now we are gearing up for the Matric rage.....watch this space!!!!!!!!!!!! Cherril

Such a busy time over the festive season in Plett. Lots of happy holiday makers now home and children back at school. It was a truly great first season for Galini. Lots of visitors from as far away as Germany,Spain,Netherlands,England ,America,Sweden, Canada and of course some South Africans!
We learnt a lot,made some mistakes but managed to make all our guests have a great and memorable experience in Plett. Thank you all for coming to share your time with us. Hopefully one day we will see you again. Best wishes for the year ahead. Cherril

So the matric rage in Plett has come to an end and the thousands of young adults have enjoyed the "right of passage" and are moving on with their lives. To Andriani, Richard and Michael who were my special guests, thank you for staying at Galini , it was really a privilege to get to know you.... Go well and enjoy the future that awaits!

Wow. What an exciting month. Galini has really been busy and so far all my guests have been really happy. In a couple of weeks Plett has the matric rage. Welcome to all of you ....not long to go. Have fun but be safe. The organisation this year is amazing, so many ways to have fun, lots of taxis, so no need to drive .
To my little group of matrics coming to Galini I look forward to meeting you .

Galini is happy to welcome Dorothy van Rooyen to its staff. Dorothy has over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry. Thanks for all your help Dorothy, your breakfast on Sunday was outstanding.
