Dear Domestic/Farm worker employer

Thank you for reading our communication, we believe it will be worth your while and benefit both you and your staff.

We would like to propose the following services for your domestic staff member/s:

1. Staff Administration Service

- We ensure compliance with the Department of Labour’s Sectoral Determination act pertaining to domestic employment
- Administer salaries & provide monthly payslips
- UIF registrations & contributions on your behalf
- Workman’s compensation insurance cover including contributions in the event of injury on duty
- Employment contract
- Handling of all disputes including CCMA representation

Normal monthly rate for the service is R295 per employee,

2. Pension Cover

With Edge Financial Group as the service provider we have in place a pension fund tailored for Domestic & Farm workers, with contributions from as little as 10% of the worker’s salary.

It covers for the following:

- Retirement Benefits
Lump sum payable on retirement at the age of 65, however if the worker resigns before the time and the contributions are below R7000 the can withdraw the money, but if it is above R7000 it will only be payable at 65.

- Death Benefits
1 x workers annual salary payable to their family in the event of their death or disability

- Funeral Benefit
Member R10, 000
Spouse R10, 000
Child R5, 000

- Education Benefit
R10, 000 maximum of 5 children (Lump sum paid into trust on death of member)

- Disability Benefits
1 x annual salary payable 6 months after being declared disabled

3. Domestic Housekeeper Skills Training

Happy with you worker but not satisfied with the quality of her work? We provide on-site training sessions over 2 days on aimed at improving the worker’s quality of work & relationship with their employer. We cover the following:

- Work ethic & relationship with employer
- Communication skills
- Time keeping & Management
- Managing personal finance
- Room by room cleaning & housekeeping
- Cultural & Language barriers

Our training fee is R450 for both days
