Super place located just outside Potchefstroom, so easy enough to drive back into Potch. We camped in our caravan. The campsite is set in natural surroundings with a tastful rustic theme. One can watch the sunset. It was very safe, peaceful, quiet, clean and well run. The host, Ewan, is friendly and helpful. The staff are also friendly and helpful. The campsite offers free Wi-Fi.

I highly recommend Gasteplaashuis Oudevlei to anyone who enjoys a serene farm atmosphere. With self-catering rooms, caravan sites, and tent houses, it's ideal for a peaceful family retreat. The setup is perfect for groups or family gatherings. The thoughtful amenities reflect the owners' characteristics. Plus, it's conveniently located just 13 kilometers from town. The hosts are incredibly accommodating, enhancing the experience while respecting your privacy. Our stay in the Africa unit for three nights was fantastic and highly recommended.

Had a wonderfully comfortable stay, with friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful surroundings and lovely amenities. Would recommend for any type of getaway. Had to get away for a quiet week of work, but would return anytime for a function or party as well. Enjoyed the swimming pool, bar and hiking trail also.
