As we enter lockdown level 3, note that you will need a valid permit when travelling between provinces and could be asked to be tested for Covid-19.
Only 4 South African airports will be open for passenger travel and these are:
* OR Tambo International, Johannesburg
* Lanseria Airport in Johannesburg
* Cape Town International
* King Shaka International, Durban
Inter-provincial travel is permitted as follows:
* For work or to return to work
* To undergo medical treatment
* To care for an immediate family member
* To attend funerals or if transporting mortal remains
* Students or pupils travelling to attend school or other educational institutions
* Drivers who are transporting students or pupils to attend school or other educational institutions
