We have a busy wine weekend in Riebeek Kasteel (happening this weekend).
Lizel and Cariney and have been sorting and making the shop look beautiful 🤩

We have our NEW SUMMER DESIGNS available, plus these new knit vests (Swipe through to see colors).
They are a light-weight, knit fabric that is easy to slip on and wear and has a slight shimmer to elevate it's look.

The newest member of Team Spirit, she is the kind voice behind so many emails and watsapps to get our overwhelming amount of orders to you as quickly as possible. 🙏🏼🤗

She also balances our books and keeps us on the good side of the admin mountain that can be such a big ask for a small business.

She has 2 beautiful children, a loving husband and will be taking a few days off this week to show her dad around who is visiting Cape Town for the first time ever 🙌🏽

Day 2 and it was a hot one 🥵😅 Summer is officially here (incase there was any doubt) and Blaauwklippen showed off today in the beautiful sunshine ☀️

Can we have a moment for these dresses 🤩🤩 Part 2 of our BTS Summer Photoshoot.

These dresses come in 2 designs, The Panel dress with full length buttons down the front (no sleeves) and The Puff Sleeve Dress with a waist tie and tiered skirt detail. Both dresses have pockets.

Lebo is wearing the dresses in Midnight and Carmen is wearing them in Storm 🖤💙

Anja is wearing another NEW item - The V neck dress made from our Indian Viscose that Lizel bought on her recent trip to India.

💙We have paired the dress 2 ways - with our latest Bomber jacket in Sonic Blue and with a Denim jacket (which we have in light blue and Indigo as well). 💙

The dress is full length with side slits and is finished off with a hip little rib trim!

🦚🌴Lizel is wearing our NEW maxi Panel dress in Midnight (also available in Storm, image #1)🌴🦚

This design is uniquely versatile because it has buttons down the full front of the dress which means you can wear it closed as a maxi dress OR open as an overlay (Lizel has hers half buttoned with pants underneath).

Ikat refers to the ancient technique of resist dyeing where bundles of yarn are tightly wrapped before dyeing sections of the yarns in a certain pattern.

Originating in Southeast Asia, Ikat is the Malay/Indonesian word for "bind" or "tie."

There are three types of Ikat including: warp ikat, weft ikat and double ikat, differing in which threads are ikat-dyed.

Ikat fabric is hand-dyed, hand-woven, made of natural fibers, is breathable and has characteristically blurred edges around the pattern.

We buy our Ikat from the overruns market in India, incorporating this traditional craft into our garments and saving the excess from landfills.
