Wild Fig Guest Lodge

The Wild Fig Lodge is nestled in the heart of the North-West on the edge of the Rhino plains and in the shadow of the northern point of the “Magalies Mountains” we are approximately in the middle of Rustenburg, Sun City and Swartruggens. The farm was bought by Theuns and Gavin in 2011 from Kalfie and Annemarie Ferreira. The initial idea was for a weekend break away and hobby farming. In 2007 we ha

ve decided to renovate one of the existing farm houses into a Guest Lodge with luxury guest facilities. The name “Wild Fig Lodge” originated from the Wild Fig or Rock Fig Trees on the “koppie” The farm is also a working farm where we farm on a small scale with chickens, pigs, cattle and planting of vegetables. In our immediate vicinity there are several other lodges, venues and game farms which specialize in their own fields, so do not be surprise if you go to sleep with the sound of Zebra’s or wake up to a lions roar in the area, you might even see Sable Antelope or Black Impala on your way to our lodge. The Lodge offers exquisite gardens, where guests can experience a relaxing and tranquil setting, making it a romantic private breakaway for couples or a thrilling adventure for groups of friends or colleagues.
