Today was day 2 out and about another fantastic day. Here’s how it went with photos of some of the fish we caught. All fish released.

First time in 71 days we were able to go and do a bit of fishing and Cape Vidal. What a AMAZING day, only caught a few small fish 🙏🙏

Our Story

St Lucia Tides / Night Package Deal – Total price R6000 for 2 adults sharing. Three nights self-catering accommodation at St Lucia Tides. Day 1 • Arrival at St Lucia Tides. Spend the day exploring the picturesque village of St Lucia. Day 2 • Cape Vidal Safari – Explore the Eastern Shores of iSimangaliso Wetland Park through to the sandy beach of Cape Vidal with wonderful game viewing and bird watching. If the weather and sea conditions permit, you will be able to snorkel. This includes the use of snorkeling equipment, refreshments and lunch. • Free Boat Cruise on Lake St Lucia – This 2 ½ hour trip takes you onto the famous St Lucia Estuary in between all the Hippos, Crocodiles and birds. Day 3 • Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Day Safaris – A full day excursion through this Big Five reserve. Once the hunting grounds of the famous Zulu chief Shaka, the Park is renowned for its efforts in saving the white rhino from extinction and the magnificence of these first foothills off the coastal escarpment. White rhino abound, and sightings of elephant are not unusual. The park also has lion, cheetah, black rhino, leopard, wild dog, a large population of giraffe and much more. Bird sightings may include lesser jacana, lappet-faced vultures, bateleur eagles, white-headed vultures, Southern banded snake eagles etc. Includes breakfast with hot tea and coffee, a delicious lunch comprising of a traditional South African Braai/BBQ plus a refreshing bar service at scenic picnic sites.
