Friendly Reminder: Wild Card Sales

Applicants can buy a wild card online: https://www.sanparks.org/wildcard_new/

👉Wild cards are now digital and members no longer receive a plastic wild card when they purchase wild card membership. The plastic cards are now obsolete and have been phased out.

👉When you have paid for your membership online or at a park gate you will receive a membership letter sent to you at the email address you provide when completing the application form.

👉On arrival at any park gate, you show the membership letter and your identification ( ID, Drivers, or Passport) per adult listed on the card to the gate officials.

👉If you prefer you can print out a copy of the membership letter and show the paper version on arrival at the park gates along with the required identification.

👉Not all park gates sell wild cards. We recommend that you buy wild card membership online prior to departure to ensure that you are prepared to enter on arrival at any national park.

👉If you wish to buy wild card membership at a park gate please check that the gate sells membership before driving to the gate.

👉To purchase online applicants will first need to register with SANParks and create a username and password.

👉Please store the username and password where you can relocate it as you will need it again to renew your membership the following year and you will use the same username and password when booking accommodation online.

👉We encourage you to book online as you get a discount for making the booking on our online platform.
