Wow 200 years old this month. Awesome !

The oldest lighthouse in South Africa, Green Point Lighthouse in Cape Town, was commissioned at sunset on the 12th of April 1824, meaning that this grand old lady turns 200 years old on this day. It's a momentous occasion for lighthouses in general, but also in the history of South Africa. May she continue to shine for many more years to come!

What a great couple of days exploring beautiful Cape Town with some lovely 🇮🇪Irish Folk🇮🇪 and .

We got to do the figure of eight route around the Peninsula and end off the day with a fantastic meal at . Highlight was the "Bunny Cow"!

We then headed through to the Stellenbosh area to explore the town before heading to majestic Franschhoek, where we got to reminisce over a spectacular view.

Life-long memories were created!
