Le Rox Guest Farm is situated approximately 14 km outside of Swartruggens (2 hour drive from Johannesburg) on the R53, just off the N4 to Botswana. The serene beauty of an uncluttered view from the farmhouse towards the horizon captures the peace and tranquillity surrounding you. Sounds at sunset of sheep being herd back after a day in pasture and the frog-choir from the veld will be your only com
panions. Far away sounds of a rooster crowing in the morning will accompany you as you have your morning coffee on the veranda and decide whether you should take a walk through the working farm, go cycling, read a book or simply do nothing and even dive into the sparkling blue swimming pool! The modern farmhouse consists of three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and can sleep six people. The main bedroom has a double bed and is en suite. The other two bedrooms have two single beds each. Extra bedding is available for four more. The boma is also the perfect spot to watch the sunset while the kids are playing table tennis in the games room, near the pool with it's 360 degree view of blue open sky. In the winter the cosy fireplace sets the background for playing card games, or the old favourite, Monopoly. The eco-friendly solar system, allows for modern amenities such as premium DStv and a microwave. The geyser, fridge and stove are powered by gas. The main en-suite room has its own TV. The fully equipped kitchen as well as braai area gives guests the choice to cater for themselves. The Swartruggens Dam with fishing, boating and swimming amenities is 10 minutes away and Sun City with all its wonderful amenities is approximately 74 km from the farm. Break away from city life and come and experience farm-style living that Oupa and Ouma used to have. Game drive included on the ranch with a trip down to a waterfall and seeing a wide variety of antelope as well as giraffes.
