Situated only an hour and a half away from Cape Town (150kms), on the outskirts of Velddrif, the Sandvelder’s location is both tranquil and picturesque. Breathtaking views surround the area whilst an abundance of bird-life combined with great hospitality and friendly people makes for an enjoyable stay

. It’s modern living in the heart of the West Coast with a host of fun activities for everyone to enjoy, ranging from bird watching to water sports. For those who enjoy art there are galleries showcasing the very best of the West Coast’s established and up coming artists. Enjoy many of the wonders which only the West Coast provides, wild flowers (August & September) and stretches of unspoiled beaches only minutes away.
