The Emgwenya Heritage Centre will be hosting the Emakhazeni Zanokuhle Award on Tuesday 24th September and our market traders will be there.

We will have our usual selection of products and hot food.

The awards ceremony starts at 10am and stalls will be open from 12pm.

We're thrilled to announce that not only will the Emgwenya Heritage Centre be one of the Waterpoint Hosts for the Elands Valley Marathons, but we'll also be treated to amazing performances by Thee Voices Choir and the Emgwenya African Mass Choir! 🎉🎤

This Saturday at the marathon these talented choirs will cheer on the runners with their uplifting melodies and infectious energy! We will create an atmosphere of encouragement and celebration as the runners conquer their goals!

Don't be sad if you're not running because, the excitement doesn't stop there! On Sunday, don't miss the opportunity to see Thee Voices Choir and the Emgwenya African Mass Choir performing live at the Boven Country Market! 🎶 It'll be the perfect way to unwind after the marathon and soak in the vibrant spirit of our community.

The TracN4 Toll Route is the Emgwenya Heritage Centre's core sponsor and they are also the sponsor of the upcoming 2024 TRACN4 Elands Valley Marathon! Taking place on the 2nd of March it is the most scenic marathon in all of South Africa and it starts in our town of Emgwenya (Waterval Boven)! It is a wonderful time to show the world how special our little town is!
