NUARRO LODGE
Located on the shores of the warm and azure Indian Ocean in northern Mozambique, lies the remotely, but specifically chosen Nuarro Lodge. Backed by the wild Mozambican bush, fringed with old and established baobab trees to the back; and fronted by the calm and aquamarine bay of Nanatha, the lodge is peppered along a more than 2km-long, powdery-white beach in the middle.

The 100m² chalets are all built from local, natural materials and were built by local people. Built on the dunes, designed to blend in with the natural environment as much as possible, all chalets have sea view and private access down to the beach. The chalets are larger and can accommodate up two extra beds, making it perfect for families.The cottage (approx 80m²) has a smaller footprint to the chalet, but is otherwise identical in every way.
The dune vegetation gives the chalets sufficient privacy. The large veranda doors and elevation ensures a lot of ventilation through the chalet, maximizing on the constant sea breeze. Each chalet has a generous mosquito-net-engulfed, king-sized bed that can also be converted into two three-quarter single beds.

The Himba are an ancient tribe in Namibia...
They are a semi-nomadic, pastoral people who breed cattle and goats.
Women tend to perform more labor-intensive work than men do, such as carrying water to the village, building homes and milking cows. Men handle the political tasks and legal trials.
Their homes are simple, cone-shaped structures of saplings, bound together with palm leaves, mud and dung
In the Himba culture a sign of wealth is not the beauty or quality of a tombstone, but rather the cattle you had owned during your lifetime, represented by the horns on your grave.
The Himba have been plagued by severe droughts, guerrilla warfare (during Namibian independence and the Angolan civil war) and the German forces that decimated other groups in Namibia. Despite Himba life nearly coming to a close in the 1980s, they have persevered and their people, culture and tradition remain
The women are famous for rubbing their bodies with otjize, a mixture of butter fat and ochre, believed to protect their skins against the harsh climate. The red mixture is said to symbolize earth's rich red color and the blood that symbolizes life.

WILDWATERS LODGE, UGANDA
Located on roughly six hectares on Kalagala Island, Wildwaters Lodge lies on a unique private island mid-stream within the mighty River Nile in Uganda: around 25km downstream from Jinja in eastern Uganda. It’s in a sublime location and only reached by boat which makes it a very adventurous place to stay. And, it’s uniquely perched on granite rocks with noisy and exciting foamy rapids roaring all around. The ten stand-alone elevated timber-floor and super-spacious luxury suites nestled in the rainforest with amazing river views. SWAZILAND - The lush, green Country!
Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary is Eswatini's (formerly Swaziland) pioneer conservation area, a shining example of what is possible if passion, vision and action fuse. Once a highly profitable multi-purpose farm, and being labeled an “impossible dream”, Mlilwane was proclaimed in 1961 and is now the kingdom’s most popular eco-destination for locals and internationals alike.
The name 'Mlilwane' ('Little Fire' in siSwati) was derived from the numerous fires started by lightning strikes on the Mlilwane Hill but now holds significance as the little fire that ignited the conservation movement in Swaziland.
Mlilwane’s diverse habitats support a surprisingly extensive species list. Endless hours of guided or self-guided exploration within the small 4560 Ha sanctuary are possible due to the relative absence of dangerous game. The southern plains stretch to the striking Nyonyane Mountain (Ex*****on Rock) with its exposed granite peak. Tourism is concentrated in this southern section of the park, while guided Chubeka Trails explore the northern section, as far as Luphohlo Peak.

Beehive Villages
All beehives are en-suite with a shower, basin and toilet. A beehive is a traditional grass dome construction with a low door and no windows providing for a deep sleep. The bathroom addition adds both light and circulation. Bedding and towels are provided. 3 Beehive Villages have a total of 43 beehives.

The ETOSHA OBERLAND LODGE, located in a 5000 hectar game reserve that shares a 10 Kilometer border with the Etosha National Park, combines luxury with a lot of privacy. The main area and restaurant of the Lodge is nestled in a wild, ancient “garden” and is surrounded by big trees. When entering the open lobby area with the bar and outside seating area, the view immediately wanders into the wide open space and chances are high to spot the first animals in the distance. The large infinity pool offers an excellent view into the open tree savanna and the 2 waterholes, where numerous animals can be observed. As the sun sets, many private seating spots, like small islands, invite to relax and observe this African landscape. Our friendly waiters will assist you for a sundowner drink. After the sun has set, a delicious five course menu awaits in our restaurant. For windy nights, there is plenty of space inside the restaurant, but isn’t it much more exciting to sit outside, glance at the waterholes and listen to the sounds of the savannah? What was that sound? Oh, the Blue Wildebeests are peacefully coming for an evening drink. What a lovely scene… Round off the evening in front of a cosy fire with a glass of wine in our lounge.
Our spacious chalets are carefully integrated into nature. All of them are positioned far apart from each other, hardly perceived by the neighbour. This promises lots of privacy and an undisturbed view into the savannah. Grab a page-turner and relax on the terrace in front of your chalet, while listening to the birds chirp and the zebras call in the distance. The brave ones are welcome to use the outside shower under a tree in front of the room. 75m² of space, tasteful design with lots of natural material and colours, air condition and Wifi, Minibar and Tea- and Coffee Station and most of all the view are a foundation for an unforgettable stay. A lot of love to details rounds of the stay. The fact that the whole lodge is solar powered should actually go without saying and makes everything even a bit better. Hermanus Whale Season, South Africa
To see migratory southern right or humpback whales, visit between June and October. The best months are August to October, with the Hermanus Whale Festival taking place in late September or early October.

The whale watching trip begins with an on-land briefing led by our whale specialist guide before heading down the jetty to our catamaran. We then set off from the Hermanus New Harbour in search of the ‘gentle giants.’ The purpose-built catamaran provides superior viewing and comfort and during the Hermanus whale tour the friendly, knowledgeable crew add that personal touch allowing for an all-round great experience, from ensuring the perfect photo opportunities are not missed to serving complimentary light refreshments.
Our Whale Specialist guide will interpret the marine life encountered en route and provide insight into the behaviour of the whales while you are watching them in action. Our videographer will ensure that the best footage is captured.

Jabali Ridge, Ruaha National Park in Tanzania

Jabali Ridge is a stylish camp in the wildlife-rich Ruaha National Park, set on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Mwagusi River and Ikuka escarpment.

A landscape of sun-bleached plains, mighty baobabs and hardy shrubs, Ruaha is home to large numbers of lion, elephant, buffalo and even endangered African wild dogs. During the rainy season, visitors can hear the incredible thundering of the Ikuka waterfalls and even witness the Mwagusi beginning to flow after being dry for seven months. The dry season is equally exciting, with opportunities to spot buffalo herds in the riverbed and elephants digging in the sand for water.

EXPLORE & DISCOVER
There is much to see in the Ste. Anne Marine National Park (Seychelles), which is set amid dazzling turquoise waters and is thus, a perfect snorkelling spot. Situated about 5km from the main island of Mahé, this picturesque Marine Park comprises 6 islands just off the coast of Mahe. These islands include Ste Anne, Ile Moyenne, Ile Ronde, Ile Longue, Ile Cachee and Ile aux Cerfs.
Daily excursions, including glass bottom boat excursion, provide spectacular views of Mahé, and introduce visitors to the treasures of this pristine Marine Protected Area, the first such park to be established in the Indian Ocean (March, 1973).
Snorkelers on reefs can enjoy a hosts of corals of all shapes, sizes and colours. Ste. Anne Marine National Park contains one of the largest area of seagrass meadows in the granitic islands and it is not uncommon to see green turtles feeding on them. Visitors might even have the opportunity to swim with hawksbill turtles or watch bottle nose dolphins cruising, for a truly memorable experience.

Vumbura Plains, Okavango Delta in Botswana!
Luxurious Vumbura Plains lies in an area that is a mix of water and dry land. The wildlife is diverse, so that both land and water activities on vehicles, mekoro and boats deliver an all-round African safari experience.
