ECO RESIDENCE
Location: Lower Zambezi

Self-Catering. Exclusive Use

$1200 Per Night for the entire lodge

The lodge has 8 en-suite rooms & accommodates 16 people. This number may not be exceeded unless extras are infants(2yrs & below).

It is purely self-catering, however there is a cook that helps to prepare meals. The kitchen is equipped with all basic utensils. Linen, towels & soap are provided. The lodge is run by solar during the day & a genset is turned on at sunset & turned off at 22:00 hrs.

Game drives, boat cruises etc can be booked at Mvuu lodge next door.

Directions to Eco Residence:
In Chirundu, turn left at Shoprite & proceed 12km to Zesco Gota Gota sign, turn at Mvuu lodge sign. Proceed 23 km, turn right at Mvuu Lodge and Munyameshi turn off. Proceed 17km to the Conversation Area, go through the gate & proceed for 10 km (pass the entrance to Mvuu Lodge) until there is a blue grey looking tree trunk on the right. Take 2nd t/o to right after that tree, then after about 250m, the road forks, take the left fork and drive down to the lodge. Please note the road had deteriorated due to the rain so only accessible with 4 x 4.

GETTING TO BUBEZI CAMP
Located 52 km downstream from Chirundu in Lower Zambezi, Chiawa GMA. Bubezi camp is right opposite the famous Mana Pools National Park - (Unesco Heritage Site). Travel time by road is approximately 3 hour 30 min from Lusaka, Zambia.

ABOUT BUBEZI CAMP
The beautiful private camp with a stunning back drop of the Mountains and panoramic views over the Zambezi River is on the doorstep of the Lower Zambezi National Park.
It’s built on raised decks to ensure the best views and allows you to get closer to wildlife without compromising saftey. Expect a vast and diverse array of wildlife, as knowledgeable guides take you on safaris through the Zambezi National Park, lazy afternoons by the pool and dinners under African stars.
Bubezi camp is a self-catering camp, and is ideal for groups and families. They have an experienced Chef, Boat Driver and Room Attendant who are all available during your stay to help make it completely enjoyable and hassle free.
The Chef can prepare delicious meals, desserts, tea treats and packed meals for boat rides. The kitchen is fully equipped and they have two deep-freezes and one fridge to keep all your food fresh and drinks cold. For all boat activities and walking safaris, they have a Driver and Guide. The Room Attendant will ensure all your rooms are serviced daily. They have borehole water connected to the kitchen and bathroom taps.
Bubezi camp is eco-friendly and runs entirely on solar energy so you can enjoy the peace nature has to offer without hearing noisy generators in the background. This brings wildlife closer, elephants, impala, warthog, bushbuck and so much more are seen almost everyday.

BUBEZI CAMP ACCOMMODATION
Bubezi is a small camp set on raised decking overlooking the Zambezi River.
All luxury tents are river-facing, they have spacious internal and external living areas, all rooms have overhead fans, en-suite bathrooms and glass sliding doors leading out onto large decks.
All rooms are equipped with three-quarter or single beds that can be converted to a king size bed.
One of the three luxury tents is a family suite which can accomodate a family of up to five, two adults, two toddlers and a baby.
Each of the suites have a private deck and view of the river and offers the opportunity to see elephants, zebra, impala or buffalo grazing. If you’re lucky enough you may also see lions and hyenas passing through the camp, if
you don’t get to see them you will most certainly hear them calling at night.
