Njinga Rides is a Zambian company that facilitates fun fitness bicycle excursions around Zambia’s top monument and heritage sites. We are a business entity that promotes the sustenance of people’s health, culture, tradition, diversity and heritage through bicycle rides on selected routes in Lusaka City. The rides led by a tour guide are structured to make stops at sites along the designed routes,

where clients are given information about the sites, the country’s history and tourism . Njinga Rides adds to its package ,an array of locally inspired refreshments and snacks. Designated rest spots have been identified where clients are to be served with free traditional drinks and snacks such as Munkoyo (a mildly fermented drink made from pounded roots and maize meal), Chikanda (African Polony ) and Tute ne Mbalala (Roasted dry cassava and fried groundnuts). All this is ultimately aimed at sustaining the country’s history and heritage by merging fun and learning as a way to promote healthy living for all.
