The Ncwala Ceremony is an annual traditional event celebrated by the Ngoni people in the Eastern Province of Zambia. It marks the first harvest of the year and holds cultural significance for the community. Revived in 1980 by Paramount Chief Mpezeni III, the ceremony commemorates the Ngoni people's victories during tribal wars and their migration from present-day South Africa.

Taking place every last Saturday of February at Mtenguleni Village in Chipata, the Ncwala Ceremony serves as a thanksgiving to God for the fresh crops in the fields. The event triggers various activities, including the Ungoni Exhibition and visits to the Nsingo Community Museum. The museum showcases Ngoni cultural items and provides historical insights into the migration of the Ngoni-speaking people from KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, to Chipata in the Eastern Province of Zambia.
