Ուղտասար - լեռ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Սյունիքի մարզում՝ Սյունիքի բարձրավանդակի կենտրոնական հատվածում, Սիսիանից մոտ 30 կմ հեռու, 3000-3300 մ ծովի մակերևույթից բարձրությամբ, որտեղ 1968 թվականին հայտնաբերվել է ժայռապատկերներով հարուստ հնավայր:

Ավանդություն․
Ժողովուրդը վայրն անվանել է Ուղտասար՝ Սև և Ալ լճերի միջև ընկած լեռնային տեղանքը սապատավոր ուղտի նմանեցնելու պատճառով։ Պատմում են նաև, որ ժամանակին լեռան լանջին ուխտավորները զոհաբերել են իրենց որսը, ապա այն պատկերել քարերի վրա, իսկ նախքան զոհաբերության արարողությունը երկար և դժվարին ճանապարհ անցել, մինչև զոհ մատուցելը՝ մարմնով մաքրվել Ուղտասարի լճերում։ Իրականում Ուղտասարը նախնադարյան ժամանակների մարդկանց ասոցիատիվ, պատկերավոր և գեղարվեստական մտածողության արգասիքն է, նրանց աշխարհընկալման, հոգեբանության, հավատալիքների և հմայությունների սրբատեղի քարեդարանն է բաց երկնքի տակ։

Ukhtasar is one of the most important archaeological finds of Armenia.
The mountain is on the central hill of Syunik region, where the ancient village, rich in rock paintings were discovered in 1968. It is situated in 3000-3300 meters above sea level.
On the territory of Ukhtasar is located glacial lake formed in the crater of an extinct volcano, erupting during the Pleistocene. In this lake swim almost year-round ice floes and snow in the surrounding area never completely melt.
Nature, mountain, lake, Ukhtasar rock paintings impress us not only artistically, but also semantic. Ukhtasar another miracle that is worth a visit for everyone.

Բերդավանի ամրոցը գտնվում է Տավուշի մարզում, հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանից մի քանի հարյուր մետր հեռավորության վրա: Բերդը կառուցվել է 10-11-րդ դարերում և վերականգնվել է 17-րդ դարում: Ամրոցը գտնվում է բլրի վրա, Ադրբեջանի սահմանից ոչ հեռու: Բերդը նախատեսված է եղել մոտակայքի ճանապարհների վերահսկողության համար։

Крепость Бердаван расположена в Тавушском областе, в нескольких сотнях метров от армяно-азербайджанской границы. Крепость была построена в 10-11 веках и восстановлена в 17 веке. Крепость было построена для контроля близлежащих дорог.

Berdavan Fortress is located in Tavush region, a few hundred meters from the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The fortress was built in the 10th-11th centuries and was restored in the 17th century. The fortress was intended for the control of nearby roads.

The Chapel of Dzordzor , is part of an Armenian monastery located in Maku County, IIR, on Zangmar River near the village of Baron. The monastery had its heyday in the fourteenth century before being abandoned and destroyed in the early seventeenth century, when Shah Abbas I decided to displace the local Armenians.

According to tradition, Christianity was first introduced to this area by the apostles Bartholomew & Thaddeus in the 1st century AD.Armenia became the first country to establish Christianity as its state religion when, in an event traditionally dated to 301 AD, St. Gregory the Illuminator convinced Tiridates III, the king of Armenia, to convert to Christianity․

The Armenian alphabet is an alphabetic writing system used to write Armenian. It was developed around 405 AD by Mesrop Mashtots, an Armenian linguist and ecclesiastical leader. The system originally had 36 letters; eventually, three more were adopted. The alphabet was also in wide use in the Ottoman Empire around the 18th and 19th centuries.

The national flag of Armenia, the Armenian tricolour, consists of three horizontal bands of equal width, red on the top, blue in the middle, and (also described as “colour of apricot") on the bottom. The Armenian Supreme Soviet adopted the current flag on 24 August 1990. On 15 June 2006, the Law on the National Flag of Armenia, governing its usage, was passed by the National Assambly of Armenia.

The national coat of arms of Armenia adopted on April 19, 1992, by resolution of the Armenian Supreme Council. On June 15, 2006, the Armenian Parliament passed the law on the state coat of arms of Armenia. It consists of an Eagle & a Lion supporting a shield. The coat of arms combines new and old symbols.

Armenian cuisine is closely related to eastern and Mediterranean cuisine various spices, vegetables, fish, and fruits combine to present unique dishes. The main characteristics of Armenian cuisine are a reliance on the quality of the ingredients rather than heavily spicing food, the use of herbs, the use of wheat in a variety of forms, of legumes, nuts, and fruit (as a main ingredient as well as to sour food), and the stuffing of a wide variety of leaves.

Pomegranate is a symbol of fertility and wealth. Pomegranate was a part of Armenian culture since ancient times. By tradition, the bride during the wedding should smash the pomegranate on the wall and the more the pomegranate will dissolve, the more she will have children. Today, pomegranate is the most popular souvenir that symbolizes Armenia.

Apricot first appeared in English in the 16th century as abrecock from the Middle Franch, aubercot, or later from Portugues, albricoque. The scientific name Armeniaca was first used by Gaspard Bauhin in his pinax Theatri Botanici (1623), referring to the species as Mala armeniaca "Armenian apple". Linnaeus took up Bauhin's epithet in the first edition of his Species Plantarum in 1753, Prunus armeniaca.

Mount Ararat is widely considered the country's principal national symbol and brand. Ararat is known as the "holy mountain" of the Armenian people.

Khachkar, also known as an Armenian cross-stone, is a carved, memorial stele bearing a cross, and often with additional motifs such as rosettes, interlaces, and botanical motifs. Khachkars are characteristic of Medieval Christian Armenian art. Since 2010, khachkars, their symbolism and craftsmanship are inscribed in the UNESCO list of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
