Starting December 10th, 2024, WestJet will resume the winter season schedule with flights to Bonaire on Tuesday, departing Toronto at 10:10 am, arriving in Bonaire at 4:30 pm, and departing Bonaire on Wednesday at 09:00 am and arriving in Toronto at 1:29 pm.

The season will run until April 30th, 2025🏝🙌

Bonaire International Airport (BIA), Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB), and Bonaire Hotel and Tourism Association (BONHATA) are delighted to announce an expansion of its flight schedule from Miami with American Airlines (AA). In partnership with AA, TCB recently informed on the upcoming summer schedule with the introduction of a 4th weekly rotation on Fridays. Following the successful current winter schedule, AA confirms the introduction of its 5th weekly flight for Bonaire, introducing two flights on Saturdays as of December 2024 on the route MIA-BON.

𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗟𝗘
As of December 7th, 2024, AA will introduce two (Nonstop) flights on Saturdays, one departing MIA at 10:05 am, arriving to BON at 2:26 pm and the second flight on Saturdays departing MIA at 12:05 pm, arriving to BON at 4:26 pm.SCHEDULE:

Additionally, AA's recently introduced summer flights on Fridays will continue to be part of the winter season schedule, providing connectivity on Mondays (1), Wednesdays (1), Fridays (1), and Saturdays (2). AA also confirmed a change in aircraft for Bonaire, introducing the Boeing 737 on the route MIA-BON.

Miles Mercera, CEO at TCB, shared: "We are thrilled to continue our partnership with American Airlines and offer enhanced connectivity to Bonaire. This strategic move not only strengthens our ties with American Airlines but also amplifies our ability to attract secondary markets in North America.”

Quick update on the Oil Spil Situation
Many pictures have surfuced and made it seem like the oil spil has damaged most of our shores in Bonaire.

Unfortunately only the east coast has been reported affected by this oil spill. The rest of the beaches in Bonaire have not been affected by this., including our beach in Sand Dollar. Which are the beaches most known for diving and snorkeling.

Stinapa and the tourism board is working hard and tirelessly protecting our sea life and animals that could get affected by this. Beaches have been already cleaned up and we are seeing positive results.

Thank you to everyone that had volunteered to help clean up these beaches and have been keeping us updated on this situation. 🏖😍
