TRAVEL COUNSULTING AND PLANNING MY WORLD TRAVEL Specialising in helping people arrange their travel. What is your time worth? Do you have the time to spend endless hours on the internet finding the perfect holiday at the best price? If not, this is where I can help you. Utilising our special relationship with suppliers we will work together to plan your holiday package for the best possible price. Let me introduce myself. I'm Desi Agelakis owner of My World Travel. My partner David, my son Frederick and I live in Barham, on the Murray. I started working as a travel consultant back in 1988 in Broken Hill for over 16 years. I have been fortunate to work in a very diverse environment as Senior Travel Consultant, Wholesale Reservations, Tours Reservations, Airport Check-in, Coach Terminal Operations and Check-in, Tour Es**rt and Tourism Teacher at TAFE. Now with over 20 years experience putting together the most amazing holidays! As a child I lived in Greece and have returned there as an adult several times, so Greece is one of my favourite destinations. Other great adventures have been to US including Hawaii, Singapore, Bangkok, Bali, Fiji, Vanuatu and of course Cruising the South Pacific. Domestic destinations have been, Great Keppel Island, Daydream Island, South Molle Island, Hamilton Island, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Mackay, Canberra, Ulladulla, Temora, Coffs Harbour, Victor Harbor just to name a few.
In Recent years...
2015 The north Island of New Zealand was explored with APT...what a wonderful company they are...nothing was too much trouble for the tour guide and driver. This included the Waitimo Caves, Hobbiton (Mata Mata), Hamilton Gardens (Hamilton), Māori Arts and Crafts Institute and the Agrodome Farm Show in Rotorua, Tamaki Maori Village with a Hungi Dinner and cultural show (yes I participated on stage - so much fun).
2016 Cruising the Pacific Islands on board the Explorer of the Seas (mind blowing), San Francisco and New York...loved them both, but the city that never sleeps won my heart. Took the New York subway, visited the Time Square, Natural History Museum, Central Park, Empire State Building, Rode the Big Bus and was amazed how the driver maneuvered around the traffic. The city tour of San Francisco was amazing going under the Golden Gate Bridge and viewing the city from up at Twin Peaks was breathtaking. Only regret was not to experience the Clam Chowder...there is always next time.
