RIVER CITY CRUISES ARE COMING BACK THE 13TH OF JULY

It has been a trying and uncertain time since we were woken up to M.V. Neptune drifting near the Dockside Ferry Terminal in Kangaroo Point. After some teenagers had broken onto our home pontoon at the Cultural Centre and tried stealing our beloved icon.

Since then we have been working hard to restore the Neptune so we can yet again share Brisbane City and our rich history with you. We are excited to announce that we will be back operating every day with our 2 to 3 daily cruises from the 13th of July.

To celebrate this we have a special offer for our re-launch! Our 10:30 am, 12:30 pm, and 5:30 pm cruises are all on but if you book in for the 12:30 pm cruise on the 13th of July you will receive a free welcome drink. Please note that seats are limited to 45 during this cruise only.

We are quickly moving ahead with our repairs!

The Neptune is looking stripped down at the moment with some major repairs being done to her hull. Soon she will be freshly dressed and ready for the waters again.

Insepection and repairs are undeway. We expect to continue Brisbane's best river tours without delay despite the efforts of our vessel thieves. Police efforts are continuing and we are hopeful the perpetrators are made accountable shortly.

Plating up a range of dishes such as Rump steak, Parmigiana, fresh Fish and more, it is hard to leave the Hotel with a rumbling stomach.

Passengers are invited exclusively to the private bar for the traditional “Spiking of the Keg” at 11.45am and are treated to a sample of the famous “Beer off the wood”, and a wee history lesson while enjoying your beer.

From there, we return to Southbank.

Cultural Centre Public Pontoon,
South Brisbane QLD 4101

This is located outside the museum and state library, at the Cultural Centre on the river.

We have a yellow marquee on the pontoon, and a red coloured awning on the vessel.

WALK
It is walking distance from Brisbane CBD and local Southbank area.

TAXI / UBER / RIDESHARE
Request that your destination be the ‘Cultural Centre Tunnel’.

Entry to the tunnel is via Stanley PLACE, just past the bus and drop off zone. Turning left down the tunnel the driver will exit right on the roundabout and enter the loading zone, exiting the car there is a short tunnel that leads directly to the pontoon. It is then 25m down to our pontoon via the walkway.
