A awesome turn out and Celicas making a great appearance. Loved the Toyota Presence today.

Great to see so many different makes and models of J*panese Manufacturers.

Looking forward to the next event as always 🎌.

It's car show season here in my corner of J*pan, if you haven't noticed. Last weekend me and my friend went down to Kumamoto in his MS62 Toyota Crown station wagon. It did rain, but I'm happy to report that the variety & turnout of J*panese classic cars was excellent, and a good day was had by all.

I spotted this rusty, seemingly-abandoned, 1st-generation Celica GTV by the side of the road on a recent trip. It looked to have been recently dragged out of the weeds, but for what purpose? I don't believe it's restorable, more likely its parts will go towards keeping other cars on the road.

There is something about this Toyota Celica Liftback that I find amusing. And that is that I find it quite subtle. Oh, 'works' overfenders are subtle? Um, yeah. The car is set up to be a Kaido Racer, and yet falls well short of that mark.

Ok, so I was asked by the GTr34 Admin if there is a deal with group/ club discounts well yes there is.

A single entry will cost for the road rally $60 a car

As a group/club buy for 10 cars will be $500 20 cars $1000 that's up to $200 saving per group/club.

We will also be holding 2 raffles on presentation day to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

1st raffle is the weekend on the Gold coast for 2 Adults and if the winner has children I think its a $10 extra bed fee, this you can ring and confirm also confirm dates/availability cost $2 a ticket $5 for 5 tickets.

2nd prize is 1 of the Subaru do Motorsports rally teams rotor signed by Molly Taylor also a hand signed T shirt Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20

Gifts to be given away on the day of the event and will be handed out by Sammie Morgan and myself and kindly donated by BARTONS who are located at Wynnum. 1 hat and cooler per driver.

Gifts to be given away on presentation day on the 15th of July 2018 at Wynnum Subaru for the team with the most points collected on the day of the event a random choice of gifts that the winner may receive, random as no one will know what you won until you open the envelope:

1, Subie Syndicate: 1 Carbon fiber Devil wing

2, CT Tinting: darkest legal window tint ....any extra cost to remove old tint will be paid by the winner.

3, Red Devil: $300.00 radiator ....If the winner would like a custom radiator built all you have to do is pay the difference.

4, Aus Evo Club: a minor service to the value of $220 any extra costs must be paid by the winner.

5, Katarzyna Lawler/Harvey Norman: A Country Pride Australian wool 210 x 210 high loft Queen Quilt (my Bambi)

6, Repco: A CTEK MXS 5.0 12V/5A Battery charger.

7, Subie Syndicate: 1 600W power inverter with 2AC outlets and 1 USB port.

Players Choice...To win players choice this we will explain on the day as this is part of the event.

Most creative: This is for the person Driver/co-driver who is most creative in pink and best outfit may it be Spiderman Wonder Woman whatever takes your fancy but must be in good taste, this event is all about having a great day out/road trip/rally.

Show & Shine the winner will get to select 1 of the top prizes

Co-drivers we will have a random draw and 1 - 2 or 3 co-drivers will get to pick a prize from a separate bunch of gifts.

Winners of the gifts: The winner can either keep the gift for themselves or gift it to a friend, donate the gift to their club/group they will be representing so that the club may hold their own raffle to either raise money for their own charity or for the club itself its your choice

DRINK FOR A CURE:

We will have a coffee van with us on the day of the event and a % of the takings will also be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation so please dig deep and drink for a cure Tea :) or coffee, Gordon and his good wife are supporting the Subie Syndicate to help us raise as much money as we can so the NBCF can find that cure by the year 2030
