We love moments like this! We recently delivered a paediatric ECMO sled, customised by Ferno Aviation for RSQ at the Queensland Children's Hospital. It's the only one of its kind in Australia that is compatible with different locking systems aboard a variety of aircraft and includes modular equipment and mounting systems for further case-by-case customisation. Once commissioned, the stretcher will enable children such as heart and lung transplant patients who are too sick for conventional travel, to be transferred by air. This vital piece of equipment was made possible by a dedicated team of medical professionals and the Children's Hospital Foundation.
