Well I must say, Vancouver & Whistler were amazing! I was in awe of the outstanding beauty there is to see over there!! If you are thinking of doing an Alaska/Canada cruise from Vancouver, then I would definitely say you should stay a few days extra to see all the sights to see, Granville Island, Stanley Park, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Grouse Mountain and Whistler to name a few. The 2 x hotels I stayed at were
1. Wedgewood Hotel & Spa - 5*star boutique hotel in middle of Downtown. Amazing service and amenities, great popular restaurant.
2. The Douglas, an Autograph Collection - 5* Luxury hotel. This hotel is connected to the JW Marriott as well with a little casino in between. Right next door to the BC Arena and Roger Arena. Very modern and has 3 x Bi-level Penhouse suites. Also has great service and amenities.
