GEELONG will get its own Anzac Day dawn service this year, in a move designed to take some pressure off the increasingly popular Torquay event. For the second year in a row, Eastern Beach has been named as the top beach for water quality (even though we're not in Melbourne!)

There seems to be a simple rule of thumb for finding a clean beach in Melbourne: the further it is from the mouth of the Yarra, the better its quality.
