Our internal Lounge is so cosy, the heat pump and ceiling fan pushes warm air through the entire cottage or if your like me, I just love lighting the fire 🔥 and snuggling down on the sofa.

As a result of the Iron Baron disaster the Low Head Penguin Tours was started, now one of Tasmania’s best fairy penguin viewing experiences ..

On 10.7.95, 29 years ago today, the bulk ore carrier "Iron Baron" went aground on H**e Reef, at the entrance to the Tamar River., resulting in a major oil spill.
