What an awesome weekend, quick trip to the Vic High country to put the new rig through some testing and trial a few tracks for upcoming tours. The weather gave us a little bit of everything, cool nights made for warm fires, beverages and laughs. Needless to say I’m very happy with both the performance of the Ute and the new tracks. Thanks for coming with me Tom , Deano, Stew and Archie, hope you had a good time mate.

Progress has been slowish, but things are coming together now. A few mods in the engine bay by Tom from very happy with both the look and performance afterwards. Then a couple of days for me myself and installing 12 and 240v into the canopy. More to be done but happy with what what has been done so far.

Well not the original family getaway to Tumby Bay but we made it to Rockhampton and very pleased with the newest member of the team, long time in the making but we are now part of the group. Pretty well set up but keen to start making this weapon my own.

Come and join us on one of our upcoming Vic High Country Tagalong tours, these tours are for 6 days/5 nights and will tick off some of the most well known and iconic locations in the VHC. All tours are catered 3 meals a day and includes a pub meal in Dargo. You will be supported by 2 tour guides with 2 support vehicles equipped with recovery gear, first aid, satellite communications and supplies to help you get in and out of the VHC safely.

Second edition from the Sept Simpson Desert tour, making our way up the to the edge of the desert. To say Eringa waterhole was a great way to relax after a few days of heat and flies was an understatement.

The best part of the day and definitely makes an early start and long drive worth it. Then learnt a bit of war history in Broken Hill and finally found this awesome little gecko in a switchboard upgrade. Not a bad day.

It’s time to start another build, we have added another tour vehicle to the fleet, now all we need to do is get it up to scratch. Starting with a long range tank, side steps and snorkel. What other must do’s should it have?

And just like that our first tour of the season is done, all the planning and paperwork finally make way for the fun and adventure of the tours. Our 6 day tour of the Darling River went as s motherly as we hoped for with only a few minor changes due to road closures. Awesome camping locations and absolutely brilliant guests made this one an bloody rippa.
